Consists of holiday greeting cards, primarily for Christmas, New Years, and Easter. Although the scrapbook itself was produced by Marcus Ward & Co., works from other firms are represented, including Louis Prang & Co., S. Hildesheimer & Co., and Raphael Tuck & Sons. Most were printed in either New York, Boston, or London and those that are dated were produced from 1878 to 1883. Flowers, children, winter scenes, and religious symbols are depicted.

In the 1880s, L. Prang & Co. was commissioned by W.T. Walters to prepare 116 color plates for a book on his collection of oriental ceramics. It took three artists from the firm and nearly ten years to produce the chromolithographic plates. Five hundred copies of the book, Oriental Ceramics Art, were published in 1896.
